Day job deadlines, so low profile on the blog. But I did run across Batik, which is a much better Java-based SVG renderer. This means I can reliably convert SVGs to raster much more quickly (4 to 5 times faster) than my previous hamster-powered contraption. And THAT means that more videos are on the way… 4 to 5 times more frames in the same amount of time!
